A metal fabrication and distribution company located in the Southwest required the installation of a new modular office to provide additional office space as well as a conference area for employees - allowing them to meet and discuss projects in an area free from the noise and distraction of the assembly and distribution areas.

Our client had a couple of requirements in order to fulfill their needs for this project. First, the inplant office needed to be completely installed with standard electrical components and ready for use within one week in order to maintain our client's schedule. Second, based on their expanding product line, our client also desired some level of flexibility in case their distribution center needed to be reconfigured or expanded in the future.
Based on the client's needs for sound proof wall panels, PortaFab recommended the use of our OmniFlex Fire and Sound wall panels to filter out the noise from the surrounding environment. Typically, the short time frame required for complete installation of the office and electrical needs would require an expedited cost. However, PortaFab's modular wiring system allowed the electrical components to be installed quickly, easily meeting the projected deadline. In addition to its speedy installation, PortaFab's snap together system also met the clients request for flexibility, as it allows for easy future reconfiguration and re-installation if needed. Not only was this project completed on time, but the short installation timeframe and minimal staff allowed the project to be completed under budget.
