Panel Edge Sealing

Sealing the panel top and vertical edges, as illustrated in Figure 4-2, is required to prevent water penetration, as possible panel damage. If the entire perimeter of the panel is captured by metal and gasket glazing material, which prevents any possible water penetration, the edges of the panel do not need to be sealed. In no case does the bottom edge of the panel need to be sealed. Refer to Figures 4-1 and 4-2.
