The Evaluation
Circuit boards, or motherboards, of the car stereos, were being subjected to dust and other particles in the air during the manufacturing process, which lessened the quality of the products. Pioneer feared this could cause some clients to lose faith in the company.
The Solution
Based on Pioneer’s needs, PortaFab supplied the electronics company with the OmniFlex 300 Plus, steel stud modular wall system. This is PortaFab’s most popular framing system, featuring wall heights up to 18 feet and thicknesses of 3 inches. The OmniFlex 300 Plus, along with white steel panels, provided the controlled environment essential to Pioneer’s needs. The panel construction features thermal insulation and sound deadening properties, which is utilized every time Pioneer performs sound tests on acoustical products.
The OmniFlex 300 Plus was easy to install and no obstacles or down time was involved. By improving their process facilities, Pioneer’s product yield and ROI increased. When asked why he continues to work with PortaFab, Keighley said, “They are outstanding, easy to work with and go over and beyond.”
